Role and Experience

Before joining Nkonki, Nomfuyo gained extensive experience in the corporate world: She was first exposed in the Senior Echelons at Transnet Group Audit Services (TGAS )after serving articles with Coopers and Lybrand: She then moved on and became a General Manager of Finance in one of the Transnet’s business entities: She then became a CFO of Khula Ltd a financial services organisation owned by the Department of Trade and Industry:

She then joined the Nuclear Energy Corporation of SA General Manager/CFO; there she was responsible for the entire finance function including IT, and procurement, and Compliance/Co secretariat: Over and above that she was charged with the responsibility of serving as a Financial Director of the subsidiary companies within the group.

Nomfuyo acted at NECSAas CEO for 9 months before joining Nkonki. However, because her passion has always been with external auditing, she could not stay for long in the corporate world hence she joined Nkonki.

During her Tenor at all the above parastatal companies she was a catalyst in making sure that Corporate Governance and PFMA including relevant pieces of legislation applicable to those entities are complied with: She also helped facilitated Risk Management issues within the said organisations:
