Experience

Jafta has 18 years worth of banking experience. He was lending officer for corporate
and personal accounts and Standard Bank and was responsible for the following:

• Monitoring the risk involved in lending, ensuring it is in line with the Bank’s laid
  down credit policy
  
• Assessments of the collateral offered
  
• Ratio analysis
  
• Analysis of financial statements
• Preparing of applications to management
  

While at Nedbank he was Credit Manager and then promoted to Business Manager. He
was responsible for the following:

• Assessing applications from branches for banking facilities
  
• Ensuring that the security offered is perfected before funds are disbursed
  
• Ensuring that the facilities are within the approved limits
  
• Approving an declining applications for banking facilities from clients
  

Marketing

Jafta joined Nkonki as a Senior Manager in Forensic and has been involved with various
Forensic investigations such as:

• Conducted and managed Casino licence investigations on behalf of the Free State
  Gambling Board. The investigations included the building of casinos ranging from
  R20 million to R50 million.
  

Monitoring and evaluation of the development of casinos in terms of the Licencees’
undertaking per their respective bids to the:

• Northern Cape Gambling Board; and
  
• Limpopo Province Gambling Board.
  
• Conducted and managed forensic accounting investigations at private sector,
  parastatals, government departments and municipalities. Conducted various due
  diligence investigation on behalf of clients.
